A Way Back To You

I wait, for a way back to you To see you at every dawn and dusk To unify, as if parted for a million years  To live the love we never experienced. I wait to see you, When time decides for our paths To meet again. When I’ll see you bathing, In the dusky beam, out in the wilderness.  And as I bid you farewell, I choose a few words prudent, For, I do not want you to bemoan, When you hear the sullen bell groan. Know that I’ve fled from this vile world And thoughts of me shouldn’t make you woe, For, I love you so. I know I’ll meet you in the next, For, I’ve missed you much in this. For, that that was before, Is still left to be carried forth. _______________________________ _______________________________ Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
