Absence

I hear the bells toll  In a church far away, I drift towards the window Recalling the days bygone.  In a church far away The bells tolled one day, for thee, A bereaved soul I was, in mourning While you treaded alone, to heaven. I drift towards the window Hoping to catch a glimpse of you, Walking down the lane, merrily Like the sunny days, old. Recalling the days bygone Brings back memories fond, Of evenings jolly and jubilant  Now a memory, from the past.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
