Aravalli and Me

The leafless trees gaze as I walk past them Both witness barren soul, awaiting rain. As the sun sets down behind the bare hills The long wait of a day comes to an end. As my soul aspires for changeless shelter, The parched wood wishes to be drenched with rain. The small beasts take refuge in the last leaves, Last bit of me promise of safe haven. Trees watch dried streams, recall green memories My heart envisages the childhood days. Hundred sleepless nights yearn for single drop. Arid brown desert is seen everywhere. As cluster of clouds darken the blue sky Forlorn me fears pageant clouds will pass by. As earth weaves new lyrics to the first drop, My heart unites with the nature's ballad. __________________________ For more of such content follow us on Social Media:
