Arise From the Dust

When thy passion brimmed eyes poured onto mine
My pulchritudinous self, clasped in thine
Bedazzled was my soul, longing with sighs
Like dew drops thy love had moistened my core.
Latched onto love, my soul was elated.

Cold draft of perfidy seared my being
Thy falsity charred my vivacious streak
My muliebrity vitiated
Promises thou made deserted with time
Thy unforeseen deceit vanquished my soul.

I blubbed then puled, but love's labour had lost
Thou abandoned my love with mirthful glee
I shall arise from the dust and proclaim
My love's apodictic, without thy name.
