Artist of Soil

I am artist of soil, my canvas is my land Farming my passion, lush fields sole aim, Feeding the people, only mission I intend. I expect no reward, neither prize nor fame My wish ample yield, silos filled with grain, Farming my passion, lush fields sole aim. With each seed in soil, I bury all my pain I plant some hope and grow some dreams, My wish ample yield, silos filled with grain. Weather may be good or might be in extremes With patience, I wait, keep doing my share, And plant some hope, grow some dreams. Every seedling gets my love and most tender care Be it crisp winter, stormy rain, or scorching heat, With patience, I wait, keep doing my share. Each filled stomach makes my picture complete, So, I share my harvest, either small or grand. Be it crisp winter, stormy rain, or scorching heat, Feeding the people, only mission I intend.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
