Autumn Musings

I sigh aloud And in solitude rest Lonely, against the naked tree Hearing subtle music careless wind plays Leaves dance to its melodic tunes Scattering far away A vagabond

Each leaf carries Memories of lost souls And a treasure of their heartbreaks Picking a fallen leaf and placing it In my diary between sheets Precious memories of Season gone by

Boughs are lonely Trees tearfully part ways With shades of orange, brown and red Season of colors says goodbye today Leaving my pallid soul lonely Wishing upon autumn To greet new hues
