Childhood

Fluttering bird like dreams of my childhood days, Sometimes shimmer back in my mind’s horizon, Drenching me in the shower of pleasant thoughts Madly craving  those carefree days to slide  back,

Sometimes shimmer back in my mind’s horizon, Like moon rays reflecting from every single wave  Brilliant drops of water cascading from a spring Or beads of dew drops on the forest’s verdure floor, Drenching me in the shower of pleasant thoughts, As I glide gracefully on Pegasus’s wings of imagination, Alighting on my eternal paradise of blissful days, filled with silly laughter and funny gambols with friends, Madly craving those carefree days to slide back, Our swaying swings touched the stars and moon  Played outside till mothers shouted from casements, When love was the only language known and acknowledged
