Eyes met... Yet they did not speak. ‘Why should I first? Why can’t he? Fallacy resided, As spirits divided. Living a life of sophism, Straying in abysm. Making wounds raw, Relations couldn’t thaw. No comfort, no affability, Cold bonds thrived bitterly. The more they hated, In futile ego inflated. Creating a wall, Invisibly tall. Least they realized, That time was prized! Cold war nefariously played, Whilst souls searched for solace and aid. ___________ ___________
