December Rain

O, shocking December rain, Pining for warm sun is vain. Wacky weather echoes my grief, It seems long, though it will be brief. You’ll go away but will my woe end? How long will I continue to bend? Life’s abrupt turns, I cognise, I shouldn’t fear, They give me messages, valid and clear. You’ve been caused by the selfish demands of man, Controlling everyone, lifting every ban. Nonchalant men damage us, We react and respond thus. We are chiefly normal and sane, We prefer to stick to our lane. O, December rain, you’re my crony, For you, I’m living with hearts stony.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
