As the drowsy eye lids close Rendition of  Show ensues Tableaus begin to unfold Hazy, misty, sometimes too cold Bizarre, too arduous to relate Surrealistic ones often elate Events, actions, relived and examined Every stress and anxiety downscaled Dreams, cradle of creative thought, and action Calming, soothing comforting revelation Freud called it the subconscious Bridges unaware, conscious Deceased  souls appear erstwhile Bless us as they appear awhile Dreams whose depth none can ever fathom Inspires us  to into rhythm Cover image credit: agsandrew/Shutterstock
