Embrace

The  blue is of an azure hue And green is dense with shifting shades. The white mists pall the distant ridge   Amidst mirthful trills of chrome –quilled mates. And green is dense with shifting shades. They merge or mingle on the season’s palette  The waft brings her timbres to one’s breath-  Crystal dew, olive, lime or ochre and the red  sunset. The white mists pall the distant ridge That carries deodars, giant firs or pine trees, unbent.  They behold their might mirrored in the deep sapphire lakes And carry that memory in their tedious ascent. Amidst  mirthful trills of chrome –quilled mates. The bountiful treasures await with patience and grace To heal with the gentleness of their salving touch or put the worn to rest Or draw forth the young--  to life’s wide embrace.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
