In the long day he sweats in the heat Gathering watering unswerving From morning till evening he labours The space he counts is a vale to rest Unfailing cathedral solacing The tender nap reaping some harvest Their lives are hard in debt or scant sale Homongous despondent revolting They demand wee  pleasures to sustain
