From Afar

Thou left in a trice! My doleful heart snivels, solus It's blue devils remain impalpable, Obscure. The westerly Zephyr Heard my maudlin plea. It rendered me, An arid Vagabond leaf. On it my tears wrote, Billet-doux for thee The words splodged leaf, Carried it to you afar Now, when the rain damsels go footloose, Awaking the torpid Earth I know it's thy love, From Afar!
