I Cannot be Your Bride

My heart is poisoned, I hate you! You have clipped my wings so tight  Your love is fake, painted with golden hue. I wish to fly and shine bright  And that badly hurts your pride  Hence, you have clipped my wings so tight. I am done! I can’t any more be your bride I was born to touch the sky And that badly hurts your pride. To conquer my dreams I can’t cook a lie I free myself from this sacred covenant For I was born to touch the sky. Matrimony can’t be a lake so stagnant  Love lets one flow like an unstoppable river So, I free myself from this sacred covenant. My strong demeanour makes you shiver As I step into a life, fresh and new Love lets one flow like an unstoppable river, But, your love is fake, painted with golden hue.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
