In Deep Water

She swam down the large lake heartily To a place I never knew, I wouldn't go into those deep waters Though I knew my faith could see me through. I could hear her call out loud and clear Echoed over all that grew Into those deep waters I wouldn't go Even if I were pushed by a few. Though my love is quite enough to hold And draw her into my arms, I wouldn't go into those deep waters But would rather be on my vast farms! There are ways to be in solitude Even with nowhere to go, Into those deep waters I wouldn't go As my love never goes with the flow.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
