Loss of innocence

The icy bitter winds blew, Across the indifferent expanse blue, Painful memories ripped my soul, As the sharp blades of grass pierced my sole! Sharp cries were all I could hear, Lips trembled to say a prayer here, I kissed her epitaph as I read, Tears flowing from my eyes blazing red! It was on her birthday, as she turned eight, Gulped orange juice, chocolate cake she ate, Darkness fell, clouds exploded into rain, In some corner, Satan began to reign! Devil attacked her like a feral bear, Tiny girl fought as he touched her bare, Fate snatched my sister, the precious one, Once more cruel inhumanity won! _______________ _______________
