My Neighbour’s Cat

My neighbour’s marmalade cat, though fond of fish Steals all milk, from my dish Like the Gurkha’s whistling sound The whole night, it’s meowing around, To get rid of him, my only wish. He did bring home, his prized catch Here and there, unwanted splash So, I tossed him among the hounds. My neighbour’s marmalade Back home, what do I get to watch? Many mice dance, dine and dash.              As if in a battle ground Neighbour’s Tabby did leap, impound. Now with all tenderness, I cherish My neighbour’s marmalade   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
