My Solo Trip

I started my journey on a winding road As spirited as a traveller sole Eager to satiate my weary soul Miles and Miles, undeterred I rode The mountains made my spirit soar Sung to my heart, the colours of spring My sight got enamoured by a bubbling spring In nature's hot pool I rested my feet sore Besotted with the woods, I stumbled to a fall In the moist lap of orphaned leaves As it would get dark, when sunlight leaves I relished the moments by the cascading fall Aural balms of the stream, the birds and a bee Engulfed my solitude, my burdens did lessen In nature I found a profound lesson To embrace all beings and let everyone be! __________________ __________________
