Oh, the poor lovers Which place is best for their tryst? Her upstairs bedroom? No, mother keeps popping up Unannounced, without knocking The little garden? No, father's out for a walk. Park across the road? No, grandma grandpa are there Sitting and chatting with friends The neighbourhood café? No, always crowded with friends Movie theatre? No, can't gaze into her eyes And can't whisper sweet nothings Oh, the poor lovers Found no apt place for their tryst Dejected, they thought Forget a tryst let’s just talk Used technology and Skyped. ___________________ For more of such content, follow us:
