Soulful Yearnings

Your sublime face, lights up my days, in many ways, My heart does race, I wish you knew, my love is true, In meetings few, how our eyes met, did you forget? Please don't let my dreams drown in streams cold. In zephyr gentle, songs feeble, does it tingle? I dabble all my verses in yearning phrases, The frail roses, don't they mirror my heart's winter? 'Neath the silver sky, all whispered chants, do they die? My soul pines lovelorn, I go on, wishing upon A hopeful dawn, when you shall be with me My impassioned plea, can you hear, my dear? Come here with doors open, thaw my heart that's frozen.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
