The Adventure of a Boat at Sea

The boat sailed on the calm sea, Gliding; over successive, furrowing waves. The wind set the sail right, With sunshine sparkling, like sequins on waters! All of a sudden, Janus overtook; the winds grew crafty! Thumping the sails, to flutter rapidly! The hapless boat tossed left and right, Frenzied waves lashed the boat at close quarters. Rowing the boat seemed all too tardy, Setting the sail right seemed futile. How blessed moments turned into those of jeopardy, With distant land seeming not within sight. Waiting patiently for calmness to descend on the sea, The boat channeled forward, slowly; with receding fright... _______________________________
