The Flame of Strength

Relaxing in the cozy comforts of my heavenly abode, I switch on the idiot box feeling bored. The sight is of a military truck going up in flames. In a distant region, an air force helicopter explodes. A terrorist organization shamelessly surfaces to claim. Using outdated aircrafts, here starts the blame game. Unknown to the countless bravehearts, my heart weeps a tear. In memory of the martyrs, people light up the flame. Let the flame enlighten us and get us rid of all the fears. Let the flame of agony make people’s thoughts crystal clear. The flame is here to stay, not to meet the uncanny end. Gutsy youth this motherland is about to rear. The flame of patriotism will only make the enemies bend. A supportive hand to each other is all that we need to lend. The flame at “Amar Jawan Jyoti”* is a sign of bravery. We will be a nation one day that nobody could transcend.
