The Kingdom of Love

What is this enchanted place Where mist and morning haze Cloud the emerald trees In waves of tropical breeze And whispers of bygone days? Faint music in the forest air Blue-bells and balsam everywhere Badgers and hedgehogs Leaping over fallen logs Where ghostly lights flicker and flair Fire and flame from falling stars Gathered in pools of glimmering jars What molten dance is this That fills the beasts with bliss As they unfold their many avatars? This is the enchanted realm Of honeysuckle and winged elm Where the snake and the owl Are friends with the jungle fowl And Love holds all in her thralldom. ___________________ For more of such content follow us on Social Media:
