The Love of My Life

The love of my life is no more alive, I listlessly watch the sun’s setting curve. My heart fills with gloom as I realize, I don’t have any purpose left to serve. The night gnaws me with endless memories, The love of my life is no more alive, It seems I haven’t met you for centuries, Wish the door opens and there you arrive! Without you, I ponder how will I survive? The cold midnight appears unaffected. The love of my life is no more alive, Stillness means solace plea is rejected. How long can I stay with this frame of mind? Now I wish to stand, cheer up and survive. But vacant house and silence remind me, The love of my life is no more alive.
