Desolate empty streets which looked uncanny While I wandered through them deserted, alone unknown, queer faces greeted me with odd eyes 'Twas a total world of Strangers which was forlorn Purple clouds began hovering starlit skies My locale, my memory failed to fathom My heart raced; adrenaline began to rise Dread, dismay, panic gripped my entire system Heavens! I prayed reciting prayers many Startled, petrified that amnesia had seized Woke to the nightmare of Alzheimer's disease   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
