The Sapphire Saint

Poised he stood, with trident tall, Sleet flew, the gales roared. Slithered serpent around azure neck, Upwind made the tiger cloak flutter. Milky mountains stood lone, Beyond the sacred wall. Ashes smeared on sinewy body, Impermanence of life did mutter. Crescent glowed, as did water fall, Whilst damru* sang the songs of infinity. The sapphire sage made ubiquitous call, And nectar trickled in every speck. Danced each particle of cosmos, big or small; As the mystic man strolled on rugged trek. Glossary: Damru* : a small drum
