And then
Mankind tumbled
Out of time in torrents
Drowning the Earth in immense pools
Of pain.
They fled.
For with man came
Raging rivers of blood
Through forests screaming in silence
At dawn.
And now
They are no more.
Only man walks alone
In this desert, while his demons
Stalk him.
