The Limerick king Edward Lear
Wrote nonsensical poems without any fear
He chose characters so weird
And made them look so revered
He proposed a damsel twice
Who thought to marry him won't be so wise
The heartbreak made him befriend a cat
The spherical short-tailed creature wore a hat
He called on to me to sketch The Pobble With No Toes
I suggested let's give him some fancy clothes
Baffled he left leaving his unfinished draft
Now I am working to finalize his craft
