This Is Not Your Story
Having read Savi Sharma's first book 'Everyone Has A Story', it was natural to go ahead with this one. And as expected this book didn't disappoint, it is in fact many times better than the previous one.
It has a unique start and while reading it no one can imagine how the story will unfold. Chasing your dreams and rewriting your life story remains the core theme which is conveyed through by interweaving the lives of four characters- Kasturi, Miraya, Shaurya and Anubhav. Each one has a background story to tell. Some hidden feelings and dreams and how each one becomes a pillar of support for the other to achieve their goals and rewrite their life story becomes the premise of the story.
The language used in the book is commendable. You will find that many lines will get added to motivational quotes, like-
' We choose to change our life's path, it doesn't happen by chance.' ' If you don't give all of yourself to the life you want, heart, soul and mind, you won't go anywhere at all',Expressing Miraya's feelings through her diary is a unique touch.
