Those Grey Days
Everything came to a stand still
Nothing moved here and there
Emotions were like numb
It looked like a dark sky
No feelings, no movements
No hope, no optimism
Sadness and disappointment within
A beautiful big smile outside
People around couldn’t judge
Fake happiness being the shield
A deep dark pit of depression
Hard to climb out for anyone
Sunlight outside, cold inside
Frozen were the sentiments
Non-existent and lost in parallel world
With lowest level of stimulus
The only medicine is the awareness
And the love and care world can give
Let’s be kind, non-judgemental
And offer a hand with warmth
Be close to your parents
Open up, talk about the issue
Let’s fight this together
And beat this demon of depression
