Unfulfilled Love

It was “something” that set her heart on a racing mission Filling her with secret desires and burning passion That sent ripples through her mind Knitting random thoughts in long dark nights That painted on the canvas of her memory Scribbling along pages of her personal diary That “something” had to be brushed aside To make way for other things, it had to silently hide She buried her Sorrow, it became her past Carefully sealed it is in a corner of her heart Melancholic winter soothes her soul She fears the joy that Spring brings along Breathing life into it, blossom stirs her up Craving for closure is her unfulfilled love ______________________ For more of such content follow us on Social Media:
