When I Am No More

You are spying me  through the window,              Strolling in the lawn and humming a tune, But I am long gone it’s just my shadow , You call me out for it will rain soon, Fearing I will be drenched and catch cold , Strolling in the lawn and humming a tune, I linger to enjoy and beauty to behold, Love your concerned pleadings and smile, Fearing I will be drenched and catch cold, Your love always found me tender and fragile, Even when I am no more wrapped me in a hug, Love your concerned pleadings and  smile . I come running in your arms cosy and snug , Pretending all the time I don’t need your love, Even when I am no more wrapped me in a hug, Spattering drops around like a drenched dove, Pretending all the time I don’t need your love, You are spying me through the window, But I am long gone it’s just my shadow.
