Your Brutal Words

Whenever your anger sparked, it pierced my heart Leaving my soul agonised, wishing to depart. Every single word felt like a dragger, Giving me pain deep forever. Why did our bond turn toxic; when did it all start? Not once but myriad times, my heart fell apart Tears often pooled my eyes as if never to part I wondered every day, will this end ever,  Whenever your anger sparked. Do you know any art? To restore my broken heart, I fear raising my voice and stutter Was our relationship always so bitter? No, it wasn’t; it penetrated like a dart Whenever your anger sparked.   Penmancy gets a small share of every purchase you make through these links, and every little helps us continue bringing you the reads you love!
