SixPens is a co-writing event where each member in a team takes turns in continuing the flow of the story, led by a Marshal.

Every week one Marshal will spearhead a group of 6 writers to write a story for 6 days (Mon to Sat).

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀: Anyone can register for the event till the total quorum reaches 6 members in a team (including the Marshal). First-come-first-serve is the way to go! Registered participants can choose to write for more than one prompt. The list of Marshals and their team members will be shared on our FB group Write.Read.Support.

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲:
Week 1- Dec 6 to 11
Week 2- Dec 13 to 18
Week 3- Dec 20 to 25

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘀:
Role of the Marshals-
a. lead and participate in the prompt for the week
b. encourage their team members to fulfil the required word count for a particular day
c. lead the story to a logical ending
d. address all queries pertaining to the prompt for the week
e. compile the final copy of the story
f. share the edited copy of the final story after the week concludes (every Sunday of the respective week)

𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴: Stories will be premiered on 31st Dec at 1 pm, 4 pm and 7 pm

𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲: Closure

All activities related to the event will be undertaken on a separate Facebook group. Registered participants will be added to the group subsequently.

The prompt for the week shall be pinned to the featured posts on the group every Monday at 8 am. Comments for the story/thread shall be closed at 8pm every night for the week. The compiled story (so far) would be shared as a document for team members to access through the week.
